MS4 Stormwater Program Update

On Tuesday, November 1st, Lindsey Nicholas of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Program presented an annual update to the Environmental Quality and Public Works (EQPW) committee. The MS4 Program manages the disposal of Lexington’s stormwaters, funneling stormwater into the various watersheds throughout Fayette County. It also works to ensure that as little pollution as possible ends up in our natural watersheds.

Council asked some small clarifying questions about the program, but no action was taken related to the program. You can view the full MS4 presentation on, appropriately, page 4 of this packet.
