Planning Commission to take public input on New Circle Road plan

On Thursday, June 8th, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on Imagine New Circle Road (INCR). INCR is a project similar to Imagine Nicholasville Road, where LFUCG is planning for the future of one of Lexington’s major corridors and how it can better serve its communities and residents. This project examined the stretch of New Circle from Newtown Pike to Richmond Road. You can read more about this project here!

The Planning Commission public hearing was held on Thursday, June 8th at 1:30pm in Council Chambers. You can watch the recording on LexTV.

Update:

The study found several areas for improvement and made recommendations for moving forward, including reconsidering the lot requirements and allowing multi-family dwelling units in the B-3 Zone. The Planning Commission voted unanimously to adopt this plan for the New Circle Corridor as an element of the 2018 Comprehensive Plan. You can read more about this project here!
